Mother's Day Tea | May 13, 2018

On Sunday, May 13 we hosted the Mother's Day Tea at Lady Camellia tea house in Georgetown. Outside it was dreary but the scene inside the cosy little tea house was anything but. I started off with several black teas for everyone to enjoy - French Earl Grey, Rose, Assam, and Vanilla Mint. By far, the most popular was vanilla mint as it was perfectly refreshing for the muggy weather outside.

I found a lot of joy in looking around the room and seeing the different families from as far as Florida who had come to celebrate the strong women in their life. I was especially blessed to have my own Mom in attendance, playing the perfect hostess, as always. Clearly some of that rubbed off on me.

Next up is the Outlander Tea in June! I feel like before I know it I'll be telling you all about that event!

Until next time!
