Oh, man, it was cold today! So naturally, we decided to do a canal tour to see more of Copenhagen. But first, breakfast!

BREAKFAST: 2, JESSICA: 0,

For the second time I had a breakfast fail. I chose this cute place for us to eat breakfast, however, when we arrived at the cafe, it was closed and they were painting the walls. Sigh. We found another place on Google maps called Frenchy. It was in this English basement and it was adorable. The food was so good and it was the perfect find!

CANAL TOUR

Next, we walked to the canal for a boat tour! We had a lovely tour guide that took us around the canal and other waterways of the city. It was a great way to get new views, and hear other aspects of what our guide Francisco had told us the day before. The wind was not to be messed with and when we were sailing into it, it was so freaking cold!

ROSENBORG PALACE

Next we went back to Rosenborg Palace so that we could go inside this time. It's an amazing looking palace, but let me tell you, the design and decor on the inside is kind of intense. There's just a lot going on, I don't even know how to describe it. It's also interesting to me that the ballroom is on the top floor so that guests would go through most of the house to get to it. Meanwhile, in British and American great homes and palaces the ballroom and other main entertaining areas are located on the main level. After finishing up at the palace we went to Torvehallerne market for lunch. I got the Danish dish Smørrebrød, which is basically an open faced sandwich. I got mine with grilled cod and capers, it was so, so good!

CHURCH!

After relaxing in the hotel for a bit we headed to Hillsong Copenhagen. I love going to church in other countries and try to make it to a Hillsong church whenever I can. It makes me feel like I'm in my home town when I'm worshipping God in a room with other Christ followers. The message was about worship and was just want I needed to hear during a time when I'm so grateful that God has enabled me to do what I love.

UP NEXT: We're leaving Copenhagen and heading up to a town called Hillerød to see another palace!
