Come get crafty and help end homelessness!
Create a set of two coasters AND raise critical funds for people at risk of or experiencing homelessness in DC.
About this event
Get creative while doing good in this easy and fun crafting workshop.
You will start with the blank canvas of your tile and use scrapbook and magazine paper to design and mod podge to create a set of two coasters. When you’re finished with your design, we’ll add cork squares on the bottom for the perfect finishing touch. This is a simple but creative craft that you’ll be able to use after you’re done.
You’ll receive hands-on instruction from Jessica on how to choose your design to give you the best end result. The workshop fee includes all necessary materials. This is an intro workshop. No previous experience is needed!

She is happiest when she lets her creative juices flow, whether by designing fun events for the public, such as the Literary Tea Series, or working with clients to plan their dream wedding. Her goal at each event she creates is that everyone she welcomes and works with finds a little space and peace during their time together. Jessica has been teaching workshops for five years, and she enjoys watching the evolution of her student’s work and seeing how her crafters are often surprised with themselves when they see their finished work.
