About the Wedding
Weddings by Daydreams came back with a vengeance in 2021, with us working on two weddings on August 7. I worked on this wedding in Georgetown, and Sara worked on a wedding with Katy and Alex at Gallery O on H. For August in DC we had lovely weather for this beautiful and traditional church wedding. The day started with rain, but by the time Aiyana was headed down the aisle, the rain had cleared up and it was a gorgeous day. I have many favorite moments from the day - the flower girl refusing to walk down the aisle, so I had to carry her down in all my behind-the-scenes wedding planner glory, meeting their officiant Rector Gini, Aiyana and Eamon’s first dance, their joyous send off, and getting to work with my brother Nick (their photog), and my good friend Rina who came to help me. It was a wonderful way to get back into doing in person weddings again.
